Blanketed in His Love-Please read

This description is from my Facebook page, please join and follow the progress!  It is under Blanketed in His Love.  Otherwise just please pass it on to all your contacts!  Thanks!  :)  <3

1 Chronicles 29:9
Then the people rejoiced because they had offered so willingly, for they made their offering to the Lord with a whole heart, and King David also rejoiced greatly.

My name is Tina Whitehouse and it has been laid on my heart that I should start this project. I am calling it "Blanketed in His Love." I want this to be a huge success to show that we as the body of Christ will, even when times are hard, help one another. I am asking for donations of gently used or new blankets, coats, scarves, hats, gloves, sweatshirts/hoodies, and ear muffs.

I am collecting for Cunningham Children's Home in Champaign IL (, Home Sweet Home Mission in Bloomington IL (, and The Clare House in Bloomington IL.

The date I am anticipating delivery is October 23rd. So donations need to be given by October 22nd. Donations can be accepted at my home - 117 Pine St Gibson City IL. You may contact me via email if arrangements need to be made at

It is my mission to blanket (cover them) with their needs all year long. However it is getting colder by the day. I cannot stand the thought of anyone being cold or hungry. If our kids are cold we just turn the heat up a few degrees, that is not possible for them. Our kids can just grab something to eat whenever they are hungry, they can't. Please help me to "blanket" God's people with love, warmth, and a full tummy.

Even one blanket, coat, pair of gloves or ear muffs, sweatshirt, scarf, or blanket can keep a person warm. Please consider donating an item of food with your gift of warmth. The Home Sweet Home Mission alone fed over 8,400 people in August. That amount of people does not include the soup kitchen provided by Clare House at St Mary's Church in Bloomington or the weekly bags of food they give away.

Imagine if each Facebook user gave one blanket, hat, scarf, pair of gloves, coat, or a sweatshirt/hoodie, and an item of food. Imagine all the warm people. Imagine the less amount of hungry kids. Imagine the possibilities each month that I ask you to help me change the world...35 miles away.

You can get a list of needs on their websites that I have given above.

Thank you in advance for your love, generosity, and commitment of helping.
